Privacy Policy

Social Dynamics ("the app", "we") is an AI advisor for interpersonal relationships. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, which AI processor receives it, and what control you have. Social Dynamics does not sell your data. Section 3 explains the AI processor's separate terms. You can export or permanently delete the data stored by Social Dynamics from the app.

1. What we collect

• Account data — your email address and a hashed password, used to sign you in.
• Onboarding answers — the optional questionnaire you complete at signup, used to generate your private psychological profile so advice is relevant to you.
• People profiles ("dossiers") — the people you add (names or nicknames you choose, relationship type, notes) and the profile the AI maintains about each relationship (events, signals, risks, strategy).
• Conversations — your messages and the AI's replies, kept so the advisor has continuity.
• Screenshots you attach — sent to the AI provider to be read for the current reply. The images themselves are not stored by Social Dynamics or added to your conversation history; only the text of the advice is kept. Provider-side handling follows section 3.
• Usage and credits — token counts and a credit ledger, used solely for billing your prepaid credits.

We do not collect your contacts, location, or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

2. How your data is used

Social Dynamics uses your data to generate advice, maintain your profiles and history, and account for credits. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. The AI processor has its own processing terms, described below.

3. AI processing

To generate profiles and replies, the app sends your messages, attached screenshots, profile, selected dossier, and relevant conversation history to the AI processor named on the consent screen. Your consent record contains the exact processor ID.

Anthropic

Anthropic, PBC provides the Anthropic API under processor ID anthropic-commercial-api.

Under Anthropic's commercial terms, its Data Processing Addendum (including Standard Contractual Clauses) applies. Anthropic does not use commercial API inputs or outputs to train its models by default; Social Dynamics does not opt this data into training or submit it as provider feedback. Standard API inputs and outputs are deleted from Anthropic's systems within 30 days. Anthropic may retain data longer where needed to enforce its Usage Policy, comply with law, or honor different contract terms.

Anthropic may process API data in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia and stores API data in the United States unless otherwise agreed. No human at Social Dynamics reads your conversations.

4. Where your data is stored

Your application account, profiles, and conversation history are stored with Supabase (PostgreSQL) in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), encrypted in transit and at rest, with row-level security so each account can only ever access its own rows. The temporary provider-side processing and retention described in section 3 is separate and may occur outside the EU.

5. Service providers

• Supabase — database and authentication (EU).
• Anthropic, PBC — AI profiles and responses through the Anthropic API; processing regions, US storage, no-training default, and retention are described in section 3.
• Apple App Store / Google Play and RevenueCat — payment processing for credit purchases. We never see your card details.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

• Export — download the data stored by Social Dynamics (profile, people, conversations, credit ledger) as JSON from Settings, or a single dossier from its options menu.
• Delete — permanently delete a single dossier, or your account and the data stored by Social Dynamics, from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible in our application database. Provider copies remain subject to section 3.
• Rectification and access — you can view and edit your dossiers in the app; for anything else, contact us.

Contact us if a request needs cooperation from the AI processor. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. Retention

We keep data stored by Social Dynamics for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all associated application data is deleted immediately. We do not keep backups of deleted accounts beyond the standard short-lived infrastructure backups of our database provider. The AI processor uses its separate retention period from section 3; deleting your Social Dynamics account cannot recall or directly delete copies still within that retention period.

8. Age requirement

Social Dynamics is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use the app.

9. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
